ACER 5742G power button blinks when charger is plugged in

My acer laptop 's power button and the two other small indicator leds start blinking in 1-sec interval whenever i plug in my charger (most of the time). I intend to charge my laptop, but not sureif its charging. The battery is replaced new. Could you provide your suggestion on  read more

if you laptop is still under warranty it can be fixed for free if not bring it to a best buy and have geek squad do it it will cost money but they can make to work awesomely or just bring it where you got it and they will tell you what to do with it but for now keep it on pushing it harder will brake it more

I was doing some work with a newish dell inspiron 1545 notebook. In the prcocess, I accidently cracked something off. The power inverter has a small ribbon cable going from it, to a connector on the motherboard.
